Georgia TeleHealth

Specialist care for betrayal, affair recovery, and couples work —
from the privacy of your home, anywhere in Georgia.

Welcome!

If you're a resident of Georgia, you can now work with a betrayal- and couples-trauma specialist from the privacy and comfort of your own home. Sessions are held over secure, HIPAA-compliant video — no drive, no waiting room, and the discretion this work deserves. Georgia telehealth with Insights is focused on the things that are hardest to face alone: betrayal trauma, infidelity and affair recovery, and couples work through the Gottman Method — from premarital couples building a strong start to marriages in high distress.

Specialties

I'm Teresa Prince, a Licensed Professional Counselor and co-owner of Insights Counseling Center. I'm licensed to see clients across Georgia by telehealth, and I've spent my career specializing in betrayal trauma and couples recovery. Whether you're a betrayed partner trying to find solid ground, a couple rebuilding after an affair, or two people who want to start marriage on the right footing — you don't have to carry it alone.

Infidelity & Affair Recovery

Whether you're deciding what comes next or committed to rebuilding, affair recovery is possible with the right structure. We make room for both partners' experiences while keeping accountability and safety first.

Betrayal Trauma Therapy

For partners reeling from the discovery of betrayal. We work at your pace to steady the nervous system, make sense of what happened, and rebuild a sense of safety — honoring that your need for transparency and answers is a normal response to being hurt, not something to be "fixed."

Group Therapy — Betrayed Partners Women's Group

A specialist-led online group for women navigating betrayal trauma — a place to be understood by others who get it. Cohorts form as spots fill.

Couples Therapy

For couples anywhere on the spectrum — from premarital and starting strong to marriages in high distress. We work on the patterns underneath the conflict so you can reconnect, repair, and build something steadier together.

Sex Therapy

A safe, nonjudgmental space to talk about intimacy, desire, and the sexual concerns that individuals and couples so often carry alone — including the impact of compulsive sexual behavior. I bring specialized training in sexual health and betrayal to this work.

Gottman Therapy

As a Certified Gottman Therapist, I use the Gottman Method — one of the most well-researched approaches to couples work — to help partners rebuild friendship, manage conflict, and reconnect, from couples in high distress to those simply wanting to strengthen what they have.

Why Georgia clients come to me

This work asks for more than a good listener. Betrayal trauma and affair recovery tend to go better with a clinician trained specifically in them — someone who won't rush toward "just forgive," who sees a betrayed partner's need for safety as wisdom rather than a problem, and who understands that a marriage in crisis needs more than a communication worksheet. That kind of specialized care is what I've built my work around, and it's what I do every day.

For couples, there can be an added benefit: I'm trained as both a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT, IITAP) and a betrayal trauma therapist (CCPS, APSATS, and CPTT-C, IITAP). When compulsive sexual behavior or pornography is part of the story, that dual lens lets me hold the recovery work and the betrayed partner's healing at the same time — so neither one gets lost behind the other.

Common Questions About Georgia Telehealth

Who can you see for therapy in Georgia?
Adults and couples anywhere in Georgia. Most of this work happens over secure video, so you can meet from wherever you are in the state — you'll just need to be in Georgia, Florida, or Alabama for our sessions.

Are you licensed in Georgia?
Yes — I'm fully licensed as a Professional Counselor in Georgia (License #LPC017266) through the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists. This is a full Georgia license, not a telehealth-only or temporary authorization, so whether we meet by video or in person, you're working with a Georgia-licensed therapist.

What do you help Georgia clients with?
Betrayal trauma and betrayed-partner support, infidelity and affair recovery, couples therapy and the Gottman Method (premarital through high distress), and a women's group for betrayed partners.

Do you offer in-person intensives or workshops in Georgia?
Yes — when there's a host location or a group to gather, I can bring couples intensives and workshops to Georgia. I'm based in Birmingham and travel for this work, so if you have a venue, an organization, a church, or a group of couples who'd want an intensive or workshop, reach out, and we'll find dates that work.

Is online therapy as effective as in person?
For the work I do, yes — research consistently shows online therapy is as effective as in-person care. Both formats have real value: some people treasure meeting face to face, while for others, location or a need for privacy makes video the better fit. What matters most is that you can show up fully — and that holds true either way. For couples work, I do ask that the two of you join from the same camera.

Do you take insurance?
Insights is a private-pay practice and isn't paneled with insurance. I am glad to provide a superbill you can submit for any out-of-network reimbursement you may be eligible for.

How do I get started?
Reach out for a free 10-minute consultation. We'll talk through what's bringing you in and help you find the right next step.
